360X DEFENSE Method - Program Selection

We offer five distinct program paths, each tailored to a particular focus and life stage. These divisions reflect decades of practical experience and hard-won lessons: the goal is not to flatter ego but to deliver honest, reliable capability. False confidence is dangerous — what we teach must work in real, high-risk moments. True empowerment is the ability to do what must be done and succeed at it most of the time.

Our age-appropriate groupings are chosen for practical reasons. While exceptions exist — a 55-year-old may sometimes outmatch a younger, fitter assailant — those exceptions are rare. For the vast majority, the best chance of survival comes from training that matches one’s physical capacity, life situation, and likely threats. That realism is the ethical core of 360X DEFENSE.

Read each program description carefully and choose the path that most honestly reflects your goals and circumstances. If you prefer a different track, you are welcome to join it — we will support your decision with appropriate guidance and safeguards. Then follow the links to the program pages to review the full curriculum, prerequisites, and recommended progression so you can enroll with confidence.

Elite Defender™ — The Complete System of Survival

The Elite Defender

The Elite Defender™ Program represents the full integration of hand-to-hand combat and firearms proficiency into a single, seamless method of defense.

We believe the ideal training is inclusive—because real survival does not happen in categories.

Many assume that a pistol alone is the ultimate answer to violence. The truth is harsher. Most attacks occur when the weapon is not yet in your hand— or worse, when it fails, jams, or is forcibly taken from you.
In those moments, your ability to fight, move, and think under pressure becomes your true lifeline.

This program prepares you to defend yourself, your family, and, when duty demands, others who cannot protect themselves.
It teaches the disciplined mindset of the Sheepdog — the one who stands ready between danger and the innocent.

These are your peak years, when you can train at full capacity, harness every available tool, and refine every aspect of your defensive readiness.
To be an Elite Defender is to stand prepared, skilled, and morally grounded in the science of survival.

This program balances hands-on, hand-to-hand classes with an academic study of self-defense law and the science of criminology, structured homework and physical development (T.R.E.S.C.-Fit™), plus progressive firearms training. You’ll train dry-fire judgment with virtual “shoot / don’t shoot” scenarios, conduct live-fire marksmanship and movement drills on the range, and advance into shoot-house and force-on-force exercises — the essential bridge between marksmanship and real-world survivability, always framed by legal, moral, and ethical decision-making.

Hand-To-Hand Only Program (Age 21-55)

360XDM — Hand-to-Hand Only

The 360XDM Hand-to-Hand track is not a classical martial art or sport — it is a martial science engineered around how real criminals attack. Built from case studies, criminology, and the legal boundaries of self-defense, the curriculum is designed for the underdog: the person chosen by a predator because they appear vulnerable. Rather than training combat athletes, we teach practical interruption, balance control, and tactical decision pathways that convert the predator/prey dynamic into advantage.

360XDM integrates T.R.E.S.C. physical development with scenario-based drills, legal and ethical study, and responsible instruction in alternate defensive tools (everyday-carry edged awareness, blunt-force improvised options, chemical deterrents, and sanctioned less-lethal launchers where lawful). Every technique and tool is selected for survival effectiveness, legal defensibility, and real-world applicability — because our objective is simple: get you to safety, keep you legally and morally secure, and maximize the probability that the underdog walks away.

Excellent Firearms Training - Firearms Only (Ages 21 Plus)

Excellent Firearms Training

The Excellent Firearms Training™ pathway is designed for students who focus solely on weapons competency—those who already have or do not want additional hand-to-hand instruction. Its central aim is to develop lawful, reliable, and decision-ready shooters who can prevail under stress while minimizing risk to themselves and others. Instruction begins with an uncompromising emphasis on legal, moral, and ethical responsibilities, safe weapon handling, and risk management. Every technical skill is taught within a framework of when force is justified and how to document and justify actions after the fact. Core modules include fundamental marksmanship and defensive accuracy, emergency/conditioned draw & access (how to get to your tool under stress reliably), gun-retention concepts and counters (how to maintain control and recover from a physical challenge to the weapon), basic malfunction recognition and safe immediate action procedures, and both emergency and tactical reload concepts. We train position and movement skills such as shooting from cover and concealment, shooting while moving, shooting moving targets, shooting from unconventional positions (seated, low, etc.), and vehicle-related considerations — all taught as controlled progressions with strict safety controls. Low-light and no-light work, night vision considerations, and deliberate decision-making under sensory and time pressure are included to help students function when visibility and context are degraded. Equally important are scenario-based stress inoculation and judgment training — virtual “shoot / don’t shoot” scenarios, force-on-force simulation, and scenario-driven live-fire drills — that build the mental patterns needed to make lawful choices in chaotic moments. The curriculum also covers equipment selection and maintenance, advanced movement and use-of-cover tactics, trauma first aid and casualty stabilization, and after-action processes (documentation, legal briefings, and debrief). Throughout, instruction is non-prescriptive about offensive use; instead, it trains safe, proportionate, and repeatable responses that prioritize survival, de-escalation when possible, and legal defensibility.

The Resilient Defender

Resilient Defender™ — Ages 55+

The Resilient Defender™ program is built specifically for mature adults who refuse to accept vulnerability as a fact of aging. It blends age-appropriate firearms instruction with the same research-driven awareness, de-escalation, and survival-first tactics found in our 360XDM curriculum, but tuned to mobility, recovery, and safe decision-making for older bodies and minds. Training emphasizes Sight, Insight, and Action — teaching you to see risk early, interpret what it means, and choose the least-harmful, most effective response — whether that means avoidance, verbal intervention, a less-than-lethal tool, or the responsible use of a firearm. Physical work is practical: modified T.R.E.S.C.-Fit™ and Spider Strength™ drills to maintain balance, grip, and explosive movement when it counts, plus techniques for ground recovery and fall resilience that reduce long-term harm. The Resilient curriculum also covers legal and ethical boundaries, personal medical planning, and aftercare so every choice is defensible as well as effective.

Because many seniors prefer or require alternatives to lethal force, we include responsible training in edged-tool awareness (everyday-carry pocket knives where lawful), blunt-force improvised options (walking cane, tactical pen concepts), chemical deterrents (pepper spray), conducted-energy devices where legal, and kinetic launchers or projectiles where permitted. Firearms modules are tailored — focusing on safe handling, judgment under stress, draw/retention options adapted for limited mobility, range work with progressive drills, and decision-making simulations rather than high-impact athletic drills. All drills progress from low intensity to realistic scenarios, with emphasis on legal defensibility, medical preparedness, and escaping to safety.

In short, Resilient Defender™ gives you tools that respect your body, extend your independence, and expand your options — training that protects your life and quality of life while keeping your responses lawful, proportionate, and rooted in real survivability science.

Young Sentinel Defender (Ages tweens - 17)

The Young Sentinel Defender

The Young Sentinel Defender™ program is designed for teens aged 12 to 17 and teaches real-world survivability through age-appropriate, rights-respecting, and confidence-building methods. This is not a sport or competition—it’s a practical training system that gives young people the tools to avoid, escape, and survive threats while maintaining self-respect and legal safety. The goal is simple: to help youth develop awareness, self-control, and physical and emotional resilience so they are less likely to become victims and more capable of protecting themselves when necessary.

The foundation of the program begins with Verbal Jujitsu and Conflict Avoidance, where students learn to manage words, tone, and body language to de-escalate situations before they turn physical. Through structured role-play and guided practice, they develop the ability to deflect aggression and maintain composure under pressure. The program also trains Sight and Situational Awareness, teaching students how to identify threats early, recognize environmental risks, and move safely in public spaces.

The B.R.A.V.E. Program—Bully Response, Attitudes, Values, and Empowerment—is a core element that helps teens handle peer conflict, social pressure, and bullying, both in person and online. It reinforces positive decision-making, emotional control, and confidence through guided discussion, movement, and real-world examples. Students also learn Sexual Assault Prevention based on Professor Ken’s C.A.M.P.S. (Children’s Abduction and Molestation Prevention Skills) and C.A.R.E. (Children’s Action Response and Escape Skills) systems. These lessons teach students to recognize unsafe situations, understand boundaries, and take safe, lawful action to protect themselves or seek help.

Physical defense is taught as a tool for escape, not combat. Students practice grappling, kickboxing, and throws using biomechanical precision and control, focusing on realistic reactions rather than competition or ego. Every movement is designed to help them break contact, create distance, and seek safety. Alongside physical training, students explore Everyday Carry and Improvised Defensive Tools, such as using a phone as an alarm, barriers for protection, or legal deterrents like pepper spray or inert training devices—always with safety, legality, and moral responsibility emphasized.

Fitness is developed through the T.R.E.S.C.-Fit™ component, which builds mobility, coordination, and functional strength, preparing students to move efficiently under stress. Finally, Scenario Training and Decision Skills allow students to apply what they’ve learned in safe, controlled environments that simulate real-world challenges, teaching them to act rather than freeze.

The Young Sentinel Defender™ program transforms fear into focus and uncertainty into readiness. It gives teens the skills to avoid danger, the presence of mind to make good decisions, and the physical confidence to walk away safely and lawfully. It’s about more than defense—it’s about cultivating capable, aware, and empowered young individuals who stand their ground with clarity and conscience.
