Shooting from ambush requires confidence which requires knowing one is competent.
Hesitations can be fatal and wrong judgments can also be catastrophic to the rest of one’s life. By training on our Virtual Screen Trainer (V.S.T.) in both simulations and scenarios, one learns to make split-second decisions.
This dry-fire judgment training is then taken into the field for live simulations and scenario training. The difference between simulations and scenarios is all about variables. In simulation training, the variables are kept to a minimum.
There is only one action and one best action in response to the situation being trained. In scenario training, there are any number of branches or alternative results which then change the answer depending on which best suits the situation as it evolves.
Knowing when and how to fire from ambush could save your life, not only physically but in the aftermath of the scenario.
Being able to make those split-second decisions is vital, and could protect you in the long run emotionally, physically and financially.
